Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
1. What we collect
- Photos you upload — used to run pose detection and generate your fit report, stored so you can revisit your history.
- Account data — email address and authentication details, managed by our auth provider, Clerk.
- Fit reports — the joint angles and pass/warn/fail results computed from your photos.
- Billing data — subscription status and payment details, handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details ourselves.
- Basic usage data — request logs needed to operate and secure the Service (e.g. rate limiting, quota enforcement).
2. How we use your data
We use your data to run the analysis you request, save your history so you can track changes over time, enforce free-tier quotas, and manage subscriptions. We do not sell your data.
3. Where your data is stored
Uploaded photos are stored in a Google Cloud Storage bucket, keyed to your account. Analysis results and account references are stored in MongoDB Atlas. Authentication is handled by Clerk, and billing by Stripe.
4. Data retention and deletion
We retain your photos and fit history for as long as your account is active, so you can review past analyses. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
5. Third parties
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Pedalyze: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Google Cloud (storage), and MongoDB Atlas (database). We do not share your photos or fit data for advertising purposes.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to export it. Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Cookies
We use minimal cookies/local storage needed for authentication sessions and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
