Which tool do I need?
Use the frame size calculator before you buy a bike: the frame is the one part you cannot adjust later. Use the PSI β Bar converter when a pump, a sidewall or a pressure chart gives you a unit your gauge does not show.
Neither one tells you if your riding position is right. A frame in the correct size can still leave your saddle too high or your reach too long β that is what a bike fit measures.
